Had to attend a wedding in LA this weekend, so I drove out by myself Thursday night. Not twenty minutes into the trip and I've got some asshole seriously tailgating me. I have a long trip ahead of me and I'm not in any hurry so I'm taking it easy, but this guy is getting on my nerves. This was in a pack of traffic where I had an 18 wheeler in front of me.

I tap my brakes a few time, he doesn't back down.
I downshift a few times, he doesn't back down.

It's important to notw that my windows are tinted so dark that I can't see out my rear windows at night.

I clear the patch of traffic and romp on it a bit, bringing me up to 110MPH.

Bam. Turns out the "asshole" tailgating me is a cop.

He pulls me over and asks "do you know why I pulled you over?" Although normally I'm very respectful to police officers, I replied "Because you were tailgating me".

Four minutes later there are three highway patrol officers there and I'm cooling my heels in the back of a police car while they search my Mustang.

Got a ticket "excessive speed". No tickets for four years, suddenly two in one month. Time to slow down, eh?
