As much as I love GFY, and I still give this board a significant amount of time, because of all the networking benefits, I can't even keep up with it anymore. There are too many posts now flying on continuously and its more like a rapid irc channel than a message board. I think if you calculate it, its over 1,000 posts a day. Who can read all that?
Then you have to sort through all the really stupid posts.
My board is nice and small and easy to manage so its fun.
There are some private boards around with only a 100 to 200 members that like it that way and will never grow to be a GFY, but blow the main big boards away because of who belongs to these.
But no one is going to displace GFY anytime soon. It is the Number 1 Board and the best board!
