depends who your friends are and what they make
key is to only talk to people about your money that are on an equal income
if you do that it is fun to talk about money
but I agree if your friend makes $1000 a month at a dead end job, dont start to him about $3k TVs lol
he would probably find it provocative because you know he cant afford it
