Every now and then I my ear gets blocked like that. It's a pain in the ass because it's sooooo hard to get it out of there. The last time I had it, I tried 2 different kinds of drops, but they didn't work, so I ended up going into the doctor and he just pulled out an "ear irrigation syringe" and blasted water in with that and it came out instantly.
I think that's what you need. Those little bulb syringe cleaners don't have the power to blast it out and in the shower, there's not enough power and the angle is bad, so I'd recommend looking around for one. I did a quick search and found a page here -

I'd HIGHLY recommend getting one (I'm not sure about the site, it's the first one that I pulled up, so you can look around for other sites). I think that I should order one for the next time that I have problems.
