Invite him to post here with any questions he might have as to how to do something. If he's flustered, he sounds like he could use some help.
Not everyboard is highschool some boards are adult professionals. The guys on this board actually have books they have written on the subject and speak all over the country. They have forgot more on editing than most of us know lol
