At the end of the day, as long as you can edit audio, video and add some decent transistions it should be good. One thing I can say about Vegas compared to Premiere is he whole process I just mentioned is waaaay smoother and more fluid than when using premiere.
FCP is better though.

Its not good enough for me,, like was already stated,, the control sucks. I have used both extensivly and I know why editors like myself get sick of vegas.
If you dont know,, it is based off an audio editing program,, and works almost the smae way,, except working with audio and video is two differnt things,, and I think SF forgot that.
