Honestly, for the good sites I use text links, banners, FHGs and my own special ads. I don't remember the specifics, but there's some "well known" mrketing thing that a person has to see something 2-3 times (or some number like that) beofre it imprints in their mind. So if you have a banner at the top, a FHG and then a text link, it's surprising sometimes how many sales come from that little text link.
