As has been said apart from very rare hardware issues (usually at the start if they happen) they are great BUT you do need to have half a clue about server management or hire someone that does. We have a couple of boxes there used for less important stuff but the've been so hassle free I'd trust them with more important stuff too were I to move it.

Read and re-read the bit about server management though. At least one post in this thread proves the point about needing it. Far too many people use EV1 servers expecting them to somehow run themselves.

Oh...and a minor gripe. They install slightly out-of-date software (such as older versions of Apache etc) by DEFAULT. It means that immediately you get the server you badly need a few hours spent updating stuff to remove any security holes/bugs. Again it's where some *nix knowledge kicks in.
