YOU are not a leader and YOU do not know how to effectively lead people.

It's unfortunate that your years in the military didn't teach you leadership skills, although, leaders are often born and not made, and it seems you were not born with the gift of leadership and no amount of training could make you one. Nevertheless, I suggest you still spend some time attempting to learn some leadership skills.
