I agree, but as I'm beginning to realize, this is an adult webmaster board and many of the people who start logo contests here are used to seeing 3d bevels with flashy graphics all over the place (because that is ADULT design)
Which is unfortunate, because in my opinion mainstream logos are so different than that..
So from now on, I'm going to include a flashy beleved 3d logo with fades all over the place for any contests I enter, just to make sure I cover all grounds.
