Thank you, all. I heard stories about some of you, and she was so happy to have had the chance to meet those of you that she spent time with in Vegas. I'll be printing the thread to bring to her-I'm sure it will mean a lot to her that her "co-workers" are all behind her.
We weren't planning on any more children, but I don't think that matters at all under the circumstances. Like when people say, "it's for the best" when something bad happens, and it seems like such a dumb thing to say, and even if it really was the best thing, it doesn't help you feel better at all.
I've got a vasectomy scheduled to make sure it doesn't happen again. I couldn't put her through this again. We almost lost our youngest child when she was 7 weeks pregnant, and now this. The problem is that she's allergic to latex and she can't take hormones without getting sick, so most birth control is out of the question. That leaves us with non-latex condoms, which break, easily and often, so I thought the best thing would be to go for the snip.
Anyway, thank you all again, I know she'll be glad to know that you were thinking of her.
