The Boston threat

http://news.bostonherald.com/localRe...rticleid=64493

"Authorities were searching across the Northeast on Thursday for four Chinese nationals and two Iraqis described by the FBI as possible terror suspects who may be heading for Boston."

Something odd I picked up in the article:

``They're not wanted at this point in time for any crimes because there's no evidence at this point in time that they've committed any crimes,'' Sullivan said. ``We're not certain exactly where they are. We can't even say for certain that they're in the country.'

Why is this odd?

Well, this whole thing started after a man claimed he helped bring in 4 men illegally through Mexico. If these men indeed crossed the border illegally, you've got a crime committed right there, which makes me wonder why the FBI says they're not wanted to any crimes, "because no crime was committed". HOWEVER, if the immigration service had records of them entering the US legally - they wouldn't be listening to that man in the first place. Makes no sense, right?
