The sad thing is that for every lazy fatass slob that abuses welfare there is an honest person who is just temporarily down on their luck that really needs it.
When I was a kid my parents divorced and my mom moved us to Oklahoma to be near family. She was only in her mid-20's, had no real job skills, and we had to live on welfare for a while till she could get on her feet again. Back then welfare only covered things like cheese, milk, butter, bread, lunchmeat, the staples that you can survive on. Now they allow people on welfare to get almost whatever the fuck they want.. why would anyone want to get a job when they can eat like they already have one?
Too bad it will take forever to change things and when they do it will probably only end up hurting the people that really need it anyway.
Like the man said.. our tax dollars at work..
