I got my girlfriend to train with me at the gym now...

yeah, I've become what I despised, one of those GUYS with a gf tagging along at the gym!

no but seriously, she's actually underweight due to a few years of inactivity (somewhat brought on by several wrist injuries / carpal tunnel), and I've always wanted to get her in the gym to start building some muscle mass and get up to a more healthy weight... so 2 weeks ago we started training and she's already up 4 lbs!

her appetite has increased, she can sleep better at night as well - and generally feels better (practically a universal change experienced by newcomers to strenuous exercise).

just before training she was 5'9 114 (now +4 lbs). my goal is to get her around 130-135 lbs all muscle weight. we'll see how it turns out. in the coming months i'm sure I will have before / after pictures.

at first she had gym anxiety (as most of everyone does who is new to a gym) but now she wants to get into it and start hitting the freeweights hard.

It's good shit guys, even if you don't have a gf - get your ass in there, it's perfect for breaking those long shifts on the computer.
