Try not to think about it, the bad luck will pass. Early 2003, the same thing happen to me, actually worse. A guy tried to steal my jeep, it was summer no top on, he was rolling it down a hill while he tried to start it, at the end of the hill was the freeway, when he couldnīt start it he jumped and my jeep crashed into a truck. I had no insurance so I had to pay $1,500 to sort of bring it back to reasonable conditions. About 3 weeks after getting it back, a drunk driver was speeding and hit me between the driver door and wheel, I spun and the car was again badly hurt, another $2,000. Thank God, that was it for that year.
