how can mrskin.com still exist?
i understand there's a lot of sites out there which push the envelope on trademark/copyright issues, or anything on the legal front. i was under the impression that the only way his site can survive is if:
1) his server(s) are in a country that does not enforce copyright laws
2) his processor(s) do not have rules against copyrighted content and/or reside in the same countries as (1)
examining it closer, it appears that his site is hosted in the US, and he also lists ccbill as one of his processors. does ccbill allow processing to sites that post copyrighted material (such as screencaps and such pulled from movies?) - i know that a friend of mine wanted to "legitimately" buy licenses for some celebrity photos to put on his site and soem photographers wanted something like up to $250 per image...
i'm very curious on this subject. i could be missing out because i was misinformed...
either way, props to him (i believe he posts on here, i think i've seen his name once in my very infrequent visits nowadays...) for making his site so big and successful.
