Does it hurt? I'm sure the pain emotionally is far greater than any physical pain it can cause -- but you must remember, self mutilation will not make your life better. Living a sedentary lifestyle watching gay porn and penis-handburns all day would make anyone want to hurt themselves - some say the tendencies of self mutilation is the body acting out against the soul.
Put down the lube, step away from the gay porn, and take a jog or something. It'll do wonders.
