first let me just say that i dont know Tootie, but i have thrown some work her way from people who wanted to know if i knew any honest & good designers around. just want to point that out before i make my point:
if you're running a business, as she cleary is/does, then you should always have a backup way to contact all your clients and/or interested clients to keep them informed about THEIR money & work that is supposed to be getting done. if shes sick, in the hospital, about to lose her house/car ....whatever....you tell someone, to go to the library (where they have free internet access) and try to email SOMEONE to post on the boards whats up (if she cant access her normal email).
Where theres a will, theres a way.
I hope all is well with her, but not responsding to emails and icq's for weeks is just plain riduculous, in my opinon. Yes, we all have hard times, but that doesnt mean you cant get a hold of SOMEBODY to deliver a message on your behalf.
