This sounds very similar to my initial experiance with them. The next part of my story went like this:

When I contacted them at the time my first check was due and didn't show up, they told me that they had never received a required agreement from me, though I had not only sent it but had proof of the faxmission. This was the agreement that stated I was giving them permission to accept money in my behalf, so I guess they figured until they acknowleged receipt of it, they were collecting the cash for themselves...

So, I send another copy of the agreement off to them but still have to wait two more weeks to get the money for that period. However, the real kicker came six months later- when I had to wait an additional month for the reserves they'd held during that time. See, their "system is set up" where the reserves are applied at the time they pay you, not when they collect the money. Since I didn't get paid that first period - I didn't have the reserves applied until the next period!
