If nothing else at least this may be a warning to others to make 110% sure their domains are locked. Unfortunately despite all the BS sue your registrar comments if the domain isn't locked this could happen no matter who you use.  Don't presume they are go and check. Last time something like this came up, I checked to make sure all mine were locked. Like you say still you're not safe. Good note to all! I'll say it again. CHECK TO SEE YOUR DOAMINS are locked.
Time to change paswords on everything too.
