OMG that totally sucks!
The personal documents are the worst. Ugh... indentity theft is no joke, it could ruin your life. Being violated is a horrible feeling. Karma will catch up with them if the cops don't.
Beef up the security at the place you're moving to.... obviously you have to police your own property if the real authorities don't care enough to. Fences and gated driveways are not only for the rich and famous anymore... maximum privacy and strong security is a necessity these days. When I was little we used to leave our doors unlocked 24/7 and keys in the cars (just the 80s not even the 1950s) ... now I keep all doors locked 24/7 and would love to have an 8 foot brickwall surrounding my house!
