That would work and be really inexpensive here. Our gardener, who works really hard on the grounds in the building where we live only makes $1400 pesos (less than $130 USD)every 2 weeks and he does an awesome job. AND he has been here 10 years! Not only does he 'garden, he sweeps all the levels of the building every morning, he washes all the sidewalks every Monday with a broom and a bucket of soapy water, he cleans the pool AND takes care of the beach.
We would like him to get paid more, but you don't do things like that here. So we just give him extra tips and gifts for all his hard work
