Well the term Girl Next Door sure isn't literally the girl next door - it's an archetype in literature, movies, and porn. It's the girl you wished lived next door to you - wholesome, sweet and pretty/beautiful in a non threatening and natural way. Betty is a GND, Veronica ain't.
