First thing is, it's a fraternity, not a frat....you don't call your

Next is, fraternities are businesses (most of them), and I know
for a fact, quite lucrative. Although it's a business for the more
clean-cut and upstanding types, they're full of dudes just like you
and me. Don't knock 'em for being part of something you're not.
Funny thing is, I never got more pussy, at any point in my life,
(and mostly just because of what I was a part of), then when
I was in school. Tell me how that's a bad thing?
Don't get me wrong, fraternities aren't for everyone. I'd never
push it on anyone...never have. But don't put it down out of
stereotypes and prejudices.

Congrats on going to school. Best experience of my life.
Basically, the rule of thumb for joining a fraternity, is to judge
the school and how the social ladder works. If the fraternities
ARE the social-life, and that's what you like, then that's where
you gotta be.
My 2 cents...sorry, it's a personal/touchy subject with me, but it's
cuz I've been defending it for years.
