If you are peeing a lot, the muscle spasms *might* be because of the loss of potassium from peeing so much. Your sudden increase in urination could be one of many things, including diabetes. See a doctor, you really need to find out what's going on.
This was my first thought - loss of potassium.

Simple test - cram a few bananas down your throat. If it's a lack of potassium the twitches should stop or slow down within a few hours. If not, do see a doc :-)
