Aawww aint that a shame? Guess that means jordan can't have peace with israel coz israel controls the river jordan? Nope - its a shared resource and as part of their peace treaty israel pumps a load of water to jordan - even during droughts.
Lebanon controls some water sources that also supply israel..
Turkey controls the water supplies for practically the entire middle east! Something that syria aint too happy about but tough - live in peace, drink the water of life.. (poetic huh?)
Why are the palestinians so worried about israel controling their water supply? Israel controls it now anyway so whats the diffrence apart from having their own state as well, their children not blowing themselves to bits every day, quality of life improving, economy thriving (if arafat doesn't pocket the $$$) and enjoying all the other the fruits of peace? Are they worried that perhaps next time they decide to attack israel for no good reason they will lose their water? Dumb.. if they have their own state and still attack israel 'palestine' will be nothing more than a skid mark in the desert anyway..
If the plan to live in peace why are they worried??
If they are so worried they can ask their arab 'brothers' to stump up the cash for desalination plants..
Water is a scarce resource in the region and sooner or later everyone will have to use desalination plants anyway - as the saudis do now..

Torture? Yeah in the middle of the "heaviest battle" those darn israelis just took time out to have some fun and games eh?
Why are so many palestinians dead in jenin? Here's your answer again.. "scene of the heaviest battles" - it takes two to tango..
Why did israel go into jenin? Because it knows that place is a terrorist stronghold as has been proven by the "heaviest battles" and the endless stream of suicide bombers that have come from there over the years..
Why are there so many more deaths on the palestinian side in this conflict? Well think about it (if you are able).. you send a few hundred brainwashed youths to battle against a small team of well trained and well equiped soldiers who do you think will suffer the most casualties?? Just coz the israelis don't simply lie down and play dead when attacked does that make them wrong??
Why are so many more Taliban and Al Qaeda 'soldiers' dead than American? Could it be that the US sent in their highly trained and well equiped forces to do the fighting instead of a bunch of expendable school kids?
Why are most of the israeli casualties just civilians a long way from any palestinian areas??
Why did arafat send his people to kill americans?? How many of you even know that has happened??
