I seen a commercial about the beer 'canadian', and it's a rant about canada. anwyay, the guy says 'it's 'about', not 'a boot''
i have no idea how anybody pronounces the word about other than the way canadians do, but this commercial seems to imply that people outside of canada (maybe just the US) pronounce it 'a boot' as if they were saying 'a boot', you know... anyway, that can't possibly be right. bout is pronouced bout, not boot - boot make no sense at all.
so, what's the deal? who's pronouncing it the right way? I'm pretty sure it's the canadians...
