hon, it was a smart ass answer to the thread...i know for a fact you are familiar with those and I am American so 'our fault' would be my fault too.
And Parliment did kick them out of having any real power but keep them on because they bring a lot of money into the country. It is capitalism..they stopped being a draw and bringing in more money than they are given and then they would stop funding them. Same answer I give British people that bitch about Jerry Springer. If they didn't watch Jerry Springer it wouldn't be on British tv. Buck House is a HUGE tourist draw to London and brings in major money. That stops and then lets see how long it lasts..heck even the queen doesn't like the place that much.
