I hear that when they used to slaughter cattle, there was one guy, who's job it was to nail the cow in the brain, with a sledgehammer like pick axe, except it had an end on it which was sharpened so it would go through the skull and kill the cow

now they just use the electrical thin with the two long probes, stab the cow in the chest then send electical current to the heart, stopping the heart

although there is the theory that, shocking the heart does not always kill the cow, it's brain is still alive

I know I'd be pissed if that happened to me
