I agree. Or offer something unique that can't really be downloaded. For example, I pay to download a shitload of live shows from Primus (
www.primuslive.com) and Buckethead (
www.bucketheadslivewedges.com) because the aritsts get the money, its not expensive (less than $10 to download an entire 3 CD show), and I can get the whole concert. I think people are tired of getting fucked in the ass by corporate America who sell crap at inflated prices. Its not just record companies, look at how the American auto industry is losing market share to foreign companies, although a lot of the problem there is unionization and making people lazy. But I'll save that rant for another time.
