To all those nay sayers out there that have been telling Spacedog to just go get a job somewhere...anywhere...let me fill you in on something...
I moved from California (Mt. View) to Washington (Seattle Area) back in May of last year. I bought a house, I took some time off to get to know the area. I started working for a friend who got started in this biz almost 2 years ago. I make less then a grand from him cuz I was only doing this on a P/T basis. So, I started looking for a job in September of last year. I've got years of customer service and tech support/help desk experience...so I thought I should be working in a month or two...at the max....I went to every god damn temp agency in the area...and a few that weren't.
I was either overqualifed or underqualifed...shit...I even applied at "Albertson's" for christ sakes...and nothing has turned for the better.
Now, if I can't land a job in the middle of fricking SEATTLE, WASHINGTON, how in the hell is someone going to land a job in
"Hickville, USA?" (No offense to where you live Space but it does appear to be out in the boonies!
)
So, just 'telling' someone to get a job is a whole lot EASIER then actually getting a job. So, lets ease up on the condemming of spacedog for whatever reason and just offer some support....PLEASE
