i don't need to ask myself... the people who join these sites want to see 13 year old girls in bikinis etc. they don't want to see "art" or "select a model" for their next ad campaign.
where they get the traffic from? wherever they can. it doesn't matter. if you SELL access to these sites, depicting 13 year olds in bikinis - you have (almost always) one thing on your mind, both in the case of the seller and the buyer.
anyway, i don't think we have a real argument, except that i say that the content itself doesn't matter if you hade the wrong intention, and you say that it depends on the content (unless I don't understand your post). the "type" of content may help the seller before the verdict is read. i am sure a webmaster selling nude pics of 13 year olds will get greater sentence. still, as far as jail time, or criminal record, or $$$ fines, or probation officers etc. are concerned - the seller is guilty of a crime eitherway.
