You should have gone up to him inside, and told him flat out that you believe he stopped on your wife. I bet he would have apologized on the spot. It's doubtful there was any malice in the event, if in fact there was an event.
In any case, I'm glad to hear nobody was seriously injured.

I didn't know about the footstomping at the time, only about the shoving and "sponsor!" he screamed....again, those who know my wife know what an unassuming and classy person she is (yes, I often question how I ended up with her ;-))
had it only been a minor case of lack of crowd control (which was happening as it was) it would have been one thing...but even people pushing through with Player's cards had the tact to apologize and explain "I have a player's card"
