If you've got 10k and don't know how to make money with it, spend 500-1000 on an idea, try it out, and calculate your return on investment. If you made more than you spent, invest more of the money. If you lost your shirt, spend another 500-1000 trying something else. If you came close, see if you can refine your approach to make it profitable. I would not spend the full amount on one approach/idea until you have some idea how to profit from the investment. PPC, high-PR text links, TGPs, domains, paysites, and so on can all turn a profit, but all these approaches have experienced competitors, so you need to read up, experiment, and learn how to turn a profit.
