There's also Coppermine Photo Gallery:
http://coppermine.sourceforge.net
Both are free.
Gallery is easy to use, but a little limited. Which might be exactly what you want inside a member's area.
Coppermine is harder to get setup exactly how you want it, but is simple to operate down the road. It's probably overkill for your use.
