Read My Lips! NO NEW TAXES is the most famous one of the recent past. But they all do that. Cut and then nail it back together that much harder.
Dems might not be any better but they don't promise cuts and then hit you broadside the next year. And they are at least up front about what they do with the taxes. (Some real frivilous things to be sure BUT they also take care of the disabled and elderly alot better etc).
And before anyone flames about the disabled and elderly... are YOU going to take care of your parents? Didn't think so...
One of the latest Repub ploys, one year add $$ to the medicaid system to help with the huge pricing on meds, this year? Let them co-pay (BUT never raised the checks so they CAN co-pay)
