I know the feeling. I use adelphia as well (only because it's my only option out here). I ALWAYS have issues with my connection.
I haven't been able to get online these past few days, and I couldn't use my emails either.
When they first came to connect my modem, I told them I wanted a direct line NOT a splitter. Well, they don't listen. They put a splitter on the line anyway, so of course I get a low signal quite often.
In order to be able to use my modem, I had to remove the splitter (which means no TV in the room my computer is in) and connect the direct line straight into my modem.
I've called them about this numerous times and all they do is send a tech to look at it. I already know what the problem is, but they wont fix it for some reason. They'd rather keep coming out here for nothing.
Conclusion.....Adelphia has a bunch of morons working for them!
