I'm not suprised the dogs are starving, and I don't want this thread to degenerate into an anti-Bush tirade, but our leaders and military were sure that as soon as we 'liberated' the people of Iraq from Saddam that we'd all be seen as heros, kissing our men and women on both cheeks, and naming their kids after George Bush.
Less planning went into what happens after taking Iraq, than goes on for an Orange County Bar Mitzvah. The logistics are all fucked up, Humvees don't have the armor, Marines are begging strangers on the Internet for canned food and flashlights, and $10,000 bomb detection dogs are starving from lack of quality food.
