It's comfort I'm going for. Being a bit of a fat bastard the 'normal' toe strap causes pain across the top of the foot - sometimes bad pain. Different boots etc etc help little as does loosening the toe strap. I'm figuring flows or the new burtons will help stop this as there's no strap pressure on that part of the foot.

The main worry is loosing response as I've heard people complain that flows can cause that for them.

And then others like kiana say they're not comfy either

I'm taking my boots to the shop to try both but it's tough to get a true feel for them until you use them on the mountain.
