Who knows? Tho the old search/replace routine over 600 pages is a little outdated and probably would not get near any ranking. A 10-40 page site done with some sense would achieve much more :-)
To sucessfully get banned.. try a nice combo of hidden text and links, stuff in that meta to kill Google caching - that should do it fairly quickly :-)
