There were some companies using hosted galleries...but not a whole lot.
We built galleries and hosted them on our own servers for TGP owners to use and took a small % of the referrals for ourselves.

you guys were really the first to do things like this on the scale you did though....I remember diabolical galleries, but don't remember much else happening like that at that time...
