Two very simple things to point out.

1. The US government and pharmaceutical companies are not the only governments and pharmaceutical companies in the world looking for a cure. Get a grip please

2. Supposing Im wrong and no one else in the world is looking for a cure. Then keeping something like this a secret would take 1000's of people from government people to doctors from not talking. Now this is where the theory falls down, for two main reasons. Most doctors are doctors because they want to cure people. If they had cured aids they would tell people. But more importantly. I have never met one American who can keep their mouth shut about anything. Let alone 1000's of Americans all keeping their mouths shut about the biggest medical breakthrough in history. Not gonna happen
