you can go two ways with salt water tanks -

tiny nice little semi-peaceful pussy ass fish, with some living coral, invertabrates and nice shit like that

or

big ass mofo's who eat live food

I prefer the big hungry fuckers, much more fun
1-2 panther groupers would work well in a 150gal, they are white with black spots, and a smallish head.

Trigger fish would also be fun, and they come in a wide variety of colorful sub-species

I also like lion fish, but you have to watch your ass when you clean the tank - they have poisonous spines, and they are deceptivly quick, and aggressive enough to charge your arm.

I found keeping salt water fish easier than keeping many delicate fresh water species. I would suggest you do invest in a good UV sterilizer, as well as the best filtration system you can fit/afford. And if you go for the living coral, be prepared to spend on some fancy lighting to keep them healthy.
