kmanrox, if he is telling the truth and he served 8 years then theres hardly going to be link.. given that most news services don't have archives going back that far (almost but not quite)..
also he's in the middle of nowhere and wouldn't have neccessarily made the national daily papers..
and he didn't bring this up now.. someone else did.. he mentioned it briefly about 4 months ago i think...
i certainly wouldn't drive to the nearest courthouse just to prove something i didn't bring back up to a bunch of guys i'd never met if i lived out in the middle of nowhere.... actually.. with a bit of ribbing i might.. but it would have to be serious..
Of course a healthy scepticism has to be employed when dealing with ANYONE on here.. you take what anyone here says with a grain of salt.. you keep the mental image of aussie rebel with a mullet and prison tatts as a likely hood or way to think of him.. but also keep "computer geek wanting to be tough" in the background..
