I'm really surprised with the video quality. I didn't get it primarily for video, just wanted that option for occasional family type stuff. It does impressively well in low light. I was apprehensive about the QuickTime video (hate it on the computer) but I've played the camera line out straight to TV and it looked fine, so recording it to tape or disc should work well. Other cameras I was looking at had 30 or 60 second limits on clips and I figured the first time I missed something because of the time limit I would hate the camera
I would definitely recommend this one to anyone looking for a decent still/video cam they can shove in their pocket.
