This is just copied from one of the reports I had to give:
My girlfriend Jenni, her mom, little brother, uncle and myself in a car crash 12/30/04 9:10pm. We are all ok, just a little shook up and we are all feeling pretty sore. All of us were wearing seat belts.
I have the marks to prove that.
We were in Jenni's mom's car, a newer Pontiac Grand Am. We were crossing Wadsworth at 92nd and had a green light going westbound a 17 year old kid in a 1980's Ford Bronco hit us on the front corner
of the passenger side. It sent us spinning about 3
times until we were facing the wrong way. It seems he
was talking to his friend in the seat next to him and
didn't notice the red light that he had for about 3 minutes
and was flying 50mph until he hit us.
Luckily there was a cop in a police car that witnessed
the whole thing. And said he didn't even try to slow
down until he made contact with us. I am really pissed
that all he got is a $215 ticket when it could have
been fatal for Jenni's uncle in the front passenger
seat. He should have got a ticket for wreak-less endangerment as well!
It all happened so fast, all I can remember is the
loud bang and spinning around what seemed to be
forever. I am glad we all made it out okay though, it
could have been worse. The driver's friend was taken
to the hospital for a possible broken wrist. Jenni's
mom who was driving is very shook up, she did all that she
could to avoid it, Geoff, Jenni's little brother just got a scratch on his finger, he was in between Jenni and I.
I am just glad we all made it out ok. It could have been much worse.
