You can´t have it both ways. A restraining order is not something you can just whip out when it´s convient for you.
Kinda true, but not true. She's have a good case to nullify it, but until a Judge actually says it's recinded it is in full force. If the cops come around and see her there, and they know about the order, she will go to jail and there is nothing you can say to stop it.

True, but it's also true that our relationships have patterns. The patterns repeat regardless of who we are in relationship with. So, it's just as valid to fix the relationship you're in as it is to just go get a new relationship. Because the new relationship will just have the same shit in it until you fix YOUR shit.

Still, it's often easier to just go make a new one. You can still work on your shit, you just don't need to forgive anyone else, just yourself.

Of course, kids go tend to skew things in favor of fixing the old relationship, too.
