You go ahead and keep spending the 16 to 20 bucks per cd that it costs them 60 cents to make. And I am the idiot?
And I have bought MANY cds as a result of finding an artist on Napster... or wherever else I stumbled on their music.

Let me understand your logic. If something costs a lot less to make than it sells for, it's okay to steal it. Have I got that right?
Well, okay, how much do you suppose it costs to make Coca-Cola? I imagine that a 2-liter bottle of Coke you can buy at your local grocery store for $.99 to $1.99 (depending on whether it's on sale or not) costs about $.10 a bottle to make. So, then, it's okay to sneak a few bottles out of Safeway or 7-11, right?
Also, there's a pretty good profit margin in my field, photography, too. So, does that make it open season on my content?
The funny thing is, you're not complaining about the profit margin in something essential, like prescription drugs. Rather, you're all hot and bothered about the profit margin in music, which you could easily live without.
You're just thieving. There's no way around that.
