By saying "it's justified because we're at war", then you've found a way to justify uncivility. After that, it becomes easy to justify it in the future. Suppose you are arrested for "suspicious activities linked with terrorism"? Is torture justified then? Why not?

BTW, they may have killed 1,200 soldiers, but we've killed near 100,000 civilians and "terrorists". No wonder the insurgency is going as strongly as it is. Some guy dies by US fire, and his brothers, cousins and friends join the insurgency to get revenge. So what have we really accomplished in this war?
