I pay $260 a month for a family plan. That doesn't sound too unreasonable to me. The US has health insurance if you are old or poor - it is called Medicare and Medicaid. I know a good number of people that say they can't afford health insurance while they are talking on their cell phones, have 2 TV's and have two cars. The US has the best health care in the world, the finest medical institutions in the world, and leads the world in innovation and technology with regards to medicine.
